change to comments functionality

I've seen a slight increase in "comment spam" over the last little while, and, as a result, have now turned on "word verification" which makes it difficult for automated software programs to "spam" the blog's comments. I apologize for the extra step, but hopefully it will keep the comments actual and satisfactual.
