The Seattle Times: Local News: "Ghost bikes" eerie reminders of accidents

I pass a few of these on my commute in the mornings. I noticed them yesterday and this provides some background. Of interest: I was almost hit (this morning) by a car right at the spot where this picture (ghost cycle #7) was taken.

Interesting approach to increasing awareness around cycling issues, which I'm a big fan of.
