Cyborg ear

Much like RoboCop (or the friends and colleagues at whom I like to poke fun for using one), I now have my own bluetooth-enabled hands-free wireless device for my new mobile phone.

I called my friend Kenton earlier today using the device, and he let me know that the technology (bluetooth) was so named because of an old Danish King, nicknamed "Bluetooth" (see here). Kenton does have Danish roots.

Anyway, much to my chagrin (because I do think they're a little goofy), the device works very well, and is quite handy (no pun intended). I may even have to try it on my bike, so I can take calls while riding to/from work.
